Abstract
Dental caries in primary teeth (baby teeth) is a prevalent global health issue
that significantly impacts the oral health and overall well-being of young children.
This paper examines the etiology, progression, and complications of primary tooth
caries, highlighting the multifactorial nature of the disease, involving biological,
behavioral, and environmental risk factors.
