DEVELOPMENT OF PILGRIMAGE TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This study examines the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan,
focusing on its current state, influencing factors, and future prospects. Through a
comprehensive analysis of statistical data and existing literature, the research
identifies key trends and challenges in the sector. The findings suggest that
pilgrimage tourism holds significant potential for economic growth and cultural
preservation in Uzbekistan. However, to fully realize this potential, strategic
planning and targeted investments are necessary.
