Abstract
Bacterial vaginosis (BV) presents unique considerations during pregnancy
and the postpartum period, with potential implications for maternal and neonatal
health. This abstract delves into the impact of BV on pregnant individuals and
postpartum recovery, emphasizing the risks, complications, and preventive
measures associated with this common vaginal infection. By exploring the
challenges posed by BV in the maternal journey—from pregnancy through the
postpartum phase—this study aims to shed light on the importance of early
detection, effective management, and comprehensive care to safeguard the health
and well-being of mothers and newborns during these critical stages
