Аннотация

Class 1 malocclusion is a common dental condition in children where the
upper and lower molars are in proper alignment, but there are other issues with
tooth positioning or alignment. While Class 1 malocclusion is generally less severe
than other malocclusions, it can lead to aesthetic and functional problems if left
untreated. Early diagnosis and intervention are essential for ensuring the proper
development of the child's teeth and jaws. Treatment options may include
orthodontic appliances such as braces or retainers, space maintainers, interceptive
orthodontics, and behavioral modification techniques. This article discusses the
importance of early detection, effective treatment options, and the role of pediatric
dentists in managing Class 1 malocclusion in children.
